Imhoff's attend MWQA Meetings The Missouri Water Quality Association Held their annual winter training/meetings November 30th - December 1st, this year in Rolla Missouri. The continuing education training included a tour of the US Geological Survey as well as the Missouri Geological Survey Buildings, both in Rolla Missouri. Paul and Kelly Imhoff of Always Soft Water Conditioners attended the tours and training for continuing education credits for the Water Quality Association, Certified Water Specialists program. The training covered geological formations in Missouri and the effects these formations have on ground water quality. Source water protection and the vulnerability of ground water supplies to the incursion of surface contaminants. Well construction and pump installation codes to minimize surface water contamination of the water supply. Water quality problems unique to cretin areas in Missouri and treatment technologies available in our industry to threat the water. The MWQA offers continuing education training twice each year, for WQA Certified Water Specialists and Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Water Systems and Waste Water Systems Operators. The training is also available for those working on becoming certified. The MWQA also offers Testing at some of the meetings for those wishing to become Certified Water Specialist or Certified Installers. The 2002 summer meetings are scheduled for Hannibal Missouri.
