pleased to announce that one of their Co-Owners, Kelly K. Imhoff has accepted
the position of Secretary/Treasure for the Missouri Water Quality Association
(MWQA).
Mrs. Imhoff said “I was happy to accept the position
with the MWQA; their association is a tremendous asset to the water treatment
industry. Offering members quality
educational water treatment seminars, net-working opportunities, they also
monitor state related water issues and lobby our State and Local government.”
The Purpose of the
Missouri
Water Quality Association
To protect and preserve our most precious resource - Water!
The Missouri Water Quality Association (MWQA), a not-for-profit group,
was organized
June 26, 1970
. The organization is comprised of
water treatment dealers and manufacturers/suppliers of water treatment products.
To these members, it offers educational programs to further their knowledge in
the industry. These programs qualify for credit in the National Water Quality
Association certification program.
MWQA, in connection with the International WQA, can be a valuable
resource to the consumer wanting to make an educated decision regarding water
treatment equipment.
Semi-annual meetings are held by MWQA to allow opportunities for
educational programs, as well as and industry-peer networking of ideas and
strategies.
Members of the MWQA agree to abide by the WQA Code of Ethics, which sets
forth standards of conduct for industry members in their dealings with their
customers, among themselves, with members of related industries, and the public
at large. The WQA Code of Ethics can be viewed at the WQA website, www.wqa.org.
The Association offers continuing education credit towards the
International Water Quality Association (WQA) Certification program
semiannually. The MWQA also monitors
state related water issues and lobbies State and Local government.
